Online shopping is a lot easier than walking round window shopping because you haven’t been paid yet , or when you do get paid the thing you wanted is sold out and your hunting for that last size 8 ! (that i never find …hello size 18 ? )

Apart from the great but usual ASOS, Topshop and Urban outfitters which are easy accesible to me  i have been on the hunt for other shops and one of my friends allways comes to me for “new” online shops, I’ve found so here we go :

Not only does the online store  remake vintage garments into something edgy and exciting ( i have the bitchy cross shorts love them !) they have a selection of vintage pieces as well as a weird but wonderful accessories line of head dresses, bracelets and ear cuffs not for the faint hearted mind ! NastyGal

One of my favourite shops but it breaks my heart when i see the custom fees !! I do own a beautiful top from here though black knit and all  shredded at the back  ! Any how not only do i love the styling,  models, photographs and website layout there stock is to die for !

I dont know who the model is but she my favourite she has been on asos and catalogs anyone no her name ????

So much choice from Jeffery Campbell shoes , vintage beauties and new brands you can lose hours just browsing !!!

I havnt oreded anything from this online store yet based in Philadelphia
as i have never finished looking at everything , there is just so much to see and there jewellery and shoes are amazing ! If your after something laid-back and unique its Definitely worth a look !

UNIF

Dont no much about the brand apart from its based in California and thier video look book is making me want to move there asap  ! but it does feature on NastyGal and again more great images !

I will not comment on the london controversy over the shooting of Mark Duggan as i don’t know facts , and obviously his family have a right to grieve for their loss and  as be angry at the police for his death but shouldn’t be used as an excuse for people to cause so much destruction and violence and neither should other cities jump on the band wagon as they’ve seen people “get away with”  it in london.

These kids out there havnt a clue and even more so its become a blame game on racism , job opputunieties and these kids believing they have no prospects and as i agree with some of these promlems this is not the reason these kids are rioting lets face it its the school holidays there bored, cant be bother to get a job or there parents cant be bothered to work and they think they can get something for nothing!

What i dont understand is why the videos ive seen the police look lost they havnt a clue how to deal with the situation and the rioters feed off this and grow in numbers atttacking smaller towns, family buisnesses and peoples homes.

To me they look like headless chickens running round there seems to be no order ???

The news say the parents should keep them indoors but the kids will stay out all day and not go home or there parents probably approve when there son or daughter comes home with a new tracksuit or phone for them ?

And its obvious the police will never catch them all there is simply too many , stores will have to close and lose money which effects us decent working people and everyones taxes will go up ? i dont understand why birmingham police was so little prepared with just batons and riot shields ? where was the rubber bullets , water canon …. police dogs ?

So what is the answer, how do we make these little boys and girls  see that its not rooming the streets causing violence, looting and vandalism that make you look good or  tough its doing the right thing getting an education , a job learning to drive being able to buy things you want with your own hard earned money , making your parents proud or proving to them you can do better !

The government need to set an example tougher punishment for the selfish and greedy and help those more in deprived areas ! and if these kids really want to stand for something take it to parliament not destroy your own communities !

I believe in a cause if its needed and yes our government need to change but they will only make things harder for us if we fuck up an already failing economy !

Well as you probably guessed Im dying to get a little puppy for when i move home next month , i haven’t lived in Birmingham for nearly 3 years so i think having a small dog to keep me company will be perfect !

Lets see if my mum will get rid of her horrid cat that Im allergic too !

Stumbled across this while searching to buy one of my favourite magazines Lula , and i loved it made in 2009, so yh its old but i love it, the music , the clothes and some brilliant shots.

What todays lazy day needs some inspiration  !

It holds a series of photographs ive taken of nostalgic gifts, cards  and objects that hold  significant memory of my loved ones these alongside text and old photographs create the book.

Together it is an alliterative family album to not only reflect on the past but to bring forth the truth of the relationships that have changed with the passing of time.

The book should be printed and finished by the end of the week so ill post it up , alongside this work is a small film that Im currently working on.

How i feel about my work right now …. getting there slowly but surely.

Oh how the winter days are slowly fading away and i am one that cannot wait for the day to leave my house with out a jacket !! Heres a few of my high street and internet favourites that Ive been window shopping in .

Asos has some great spring/summer clothes and they always style the models well and student discount at 20% is even better.

Nasty Gal i adore this shop yet the shipping cripples me some great looks to get some inspiration from though.

Urban Outfitters a few summer pieces mainly casual that you can team with shorts instore is better that the website.

Aldo …. the shop that allways has a size 3 left  ! and i can see these shoes lasting me all summer and maybe in my wardrobe by the end of the week !

And last but never least Topshop  florals, silk and fringed im loving it all ! My empty purse is the reason Ive been avoiding the store in my town the last couple of weeks as the window shopping becomes depressing when you see beautiful bikinis and tiny dresses  hitting the shelves and im still wearing a cardigan and a leather jacket to go out the house  !

But ill bide my time till the student money rolls in and i can treat my self and hopefully the sun will keep on shining and warming up!
