Valentines day is one of my favourite holidays and this year was even better than last . We celebrated yesturday as my boyfriend had work today and apart from the late taxi and awful rain it was a lovely evening.
We went to The Italian restaurant Strada in Birmingham by the ICC we allways walk past it on the way to my boyfriends house and for once i didnt have pasta …( Very rare for me ) i was adventurous and had chicken . : )
The food and service was really good but due to us running late we couldnt squeeze in desert which was a shame but we had seats booked at the Electric cinema to watch the strange yet beautiful Never let me go .( which i will mention in a different post )
I hand made my gift for my boyfriend this year which was two cusions with our intials on S and K .
All hand stiched and you can tell as Im not the best at sewing, but hey it was made with love …. theres ” i love u ” stitched on the K cusion on the back .
I recieved some beautiful flowers and L’ Artisan chocolates which are some of the best chocolates ive ever tasted !
Another great valentines day , i even got sent some love hearts sweets from O2 in the post saying happy valentines …..
Im hoping next year to be in our own home ( with those cushions sitting on the couch ! ) and my boyfriend to give me a little pug puppy with a red ribbon round his neck !
Yes im dropping hints for next year allready ! ha
